Yes! We do sell products to the public, many of which are priced lower or very competitively with the big box, yet without having to be limited to what the big box has decided you should buy. What we mean by that, is that you can buy any color or style of a brand, while the big box mass purchases select styles or colors, limiting your choices. With Mill Street you have more flexibility!

Being a special order only store, that means that you can not return items purchased if you change your mind. All sales are final. 

Mill street kitchen and bath offers a variety of kitchen remodeling services including cabinet, countertop, tile, hardwood and vynil flooring installation, as well as full kitchen and bath renovations.

Typically no, we will not install products you buy from a different store. However, if we are remodeling a full kitchen or bath, and there is a specific specialty product that is only available with a different store, then we would accomodate your needs. 

Mill street kitchen and bath offers a wide selection of countertop materials including granite, quartz, and marble. We do not offer formica. 

The timeline for a kitchen remodel varies depending on the scope of the project. A full gut kitchen remodel usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks. Mill street kitchen and bath will provide you with a detailed timeline and keep you updated throughout the process.

Contractors/Remodelers that offer "free", in home consultation or measures, have to charge customers that sign a contract more money in order to subsidize the one's that do not buy services. 

So, if you contract with a contractor/remodeler that provided you a "free", in home consultation or estimate, within that contract price, you paid for numerous other people to get that "free" visit, the ones that didn't contract those services! Do you really want to pay for a bunch of other people to get "free" quotes? They dont even say, "thank you"!

We don't believe that's fair to the ones that are serious about getting our services. So, in order to be fair to all persons, we do charge a modest fee for all in home measures and consultations. This modest fee is deducted from any purchase. 

So, in actuality, the one's that do get a consultation or measure, in home, at no cost, are our clients that purchase our installation or remodelinng services. This is because we reimburse the fee, and they aren't subsidizing those that don't buy. 

Keep in mind you can always start out with free in store, over the phone, video, and other methods of consultation and preliminary pricing. To get started you do not have to pay to have us come out to your home. Take some pictures and some basic measurements and we can get the process started with no up front cost. 

If you are told by someone that gives free in home estimates, that they do not increase the contract price on customers that buy, to offset that time invested in customers that do not buy, because they just like meeting people; you might want to think that thru a bit. 

If you are told by someone that gives free in home estimates, that they do not have to charge anyone more money, to pay for those that dont buy services because they are so good at what they do, and therefore everyone they meet wants to hire them; well you might want to think that one thru as well.
